## Math – Checklist to Finish!

* Do you have an 85% in Apex to skip the Final?

* Are all of your notes turned in?  Check Schoology!

* Are all of your notes scanned in to Google Drive?

* Are you done with your quizzes in Apex?

* Are you done with your TST’s?

* Have you finished your Numeracy Project?  15% of your grade is a lot!  Don’t skip this!!!

## YPI Open During Thanksgiving Break (Monday)

Students,

If you want some help with math, projects, etc., YPI is open from 10am to 1pm on Monday, 11/24 during Thanksgiving week!

Work on your Numeracy Project (Click: Syllabus for details)!  We are graphing on Monday, Dec 1st.

## Math Classes END on Dec 5th!

• Today is Nov 7, 2014
• We only have 7 math classes left, and 2 of those are test days.
• Please attend class every one of those days and be on time.
• Catch up over the long weekend!
• Visit the calendar to see what’s coming up next.
• You got this, girls!

## Next week is Spirit Week!

If you dress up for at least 3 days next week, you will get 5 points extra credit (this will help recover a warm-up or one section of notes you are missing)!

Rules: You have to send me a photo of you (or you and friends) dressed up for Spirit Week for each day you dress up!

• If you send me 3 or more different photos of you on 3 or more different days, then you earn 5 extra credit points!

• Monday: Sports / Active (hiking, walking, exercise, or sports team clothes)
• Tuesday: Twin Day (dress exactly the same as someone else, on purpose)
• Wednesday: Wear lots of pink!  Support Breast Cancer Research and Awareness!
• Thursday: Throwback (Dress up from a previous decade that has a distinctive, unique style)
• Friday: Halloween!!!

## Progress Report Time!

Progress reports are going out this weekend!

ALL assignments and notes are due on Wednesday by 6pm.  Anything later than 6pm will be added into your grade AFTER progress report grades go out.

• Here’s what you can do!
• Come to YPI and get some math help.
• Catch up on quizzes.
• Finish notes.
• Finish & correct your tests.
• Turn in your 3 project questions.
• Do extra credit practice assignments (see Ms. Haze)

To raise your grade before the semester ends, do all of the above AND:

• Come to class each day.
• Participate in class (with a positive attitude).
• Always come to class on time to do your 5-point Warm-Up.
• Always have your notes ready BEFORE class.
• Keep up with your quizzes.
• Come to YPI to prep and study for your tests.
• Start and finish your research to support your Project questions.

## Prepare for Math Class on 9/3

Hi Students,

While you have some time this weekend, don’t forget to catch up on your notes to prepare for Math on Wednesday (Sept 3rd).  Here is what is expected:

Algebra 1A: Unit 1.1 (Section 4) – Copy notes from this site as well as go through the pages in Apex Study 1.1 Pgs 33 – 39.  We are finishing all of 1.1 on Wednesday (Sept 3rd) and there are two quizzes you will take in class.

Geometry A: Unit 1.3 – Copy notes and go through all pages in the Apex Study.  We are finishing this section on Wednesday (Sept 3rd) and there is 1 quiz you will take in class.

Algebra 2A: Unit 1.2 – Copy notes and go through ALL pages in the Apex Study.  We are finishing this section on Wednesday (Sept 3rd) and there are 2 quizzes.  You took 1 quiz already (or you should have), and we’ll take the other quiz in class.  We’ll also be practicing work with inequalities, terms, and distribution.
