**Apex Quizzes & Other Assignments – Work Shown: 10%**- Quizzes
- Quiz titles go on the top line of your lined-paper. Ex. “Quiz 1.1.4”

- Pencil required (or you will lose 2 points each)!
- Write the question for each quiz question (short form ok)
- Show work for all problems that can be worked out on paper (which is MOST of them)
- List facts or rules for all True / False answers
- If True, copy the statement
- If False, write the True statement down instead

- Answer questions on paper FIRST, then submit your answer on Apex.
- If you get it right, move on.
- If you get it wrong, mark it wrong and put the correct answer in a box next to the incorrect answer you wrote. Slash through your wrong answer.

- Turn in to Ms. Haze for 10pts each quiz (grade shown in Schoology)
- See example quiz at the bottom of this page.

**Warm-Ups & Other Activities: 5%**- Be on time to class (warm-up is only 5 minutes long, timed)
- You cannot make up warm-ups
- Pencil only, or lose 2 points each!
- Title: “Warm Up – Date”
- Ex. “Warm Up – 1/14/15”

- Name and Course go in the top right corner of paper.
- Other activities CAN earn you extra credit, with permission

**Apex Quiz – Work Shown (Example) **

- Work out ALL problems (1 – 10) from each quiz.
- Complete work on paper first, THEN submit your answer in Apex.
- If you get the problem correct, move on.
- If you get the problem wrong, put an X on the number and lightly draw a line through the incorrect answer. Also, put the correct answer next to it.

- Make sure you draw or sketch all drawings and diagrams.
- Show ALL work.
- If I see any incorrect markings, I will help you by giving you tips and advice on how to solve a problem like this in the future; however, I can only do this IF you write out the problem, put your answer, and put the correct answer next to it.
- Do NOT wait until you are finished with the problem (or your quiz) to write up these problems. It won’t help you learn.
